PM² Photonics specializes in wavelength tunable fluoride fiber lasers, particularly for the 2.5-4 µm mid-IR region. These fiber lasers allows higher powers and wider tuning regions than interband cascade lasers (ICLs) and lower prices than OPOs. They can thus serve as enablers for a wide range of mid-IR applications particularly in spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging for sensing, diagnostics, non destructive testing and process control
